"Signing with The Art of Music has been a great blessing, and true validation of who I am. Coming up in schools, teachers were a bit baffled with a student who had equal talents in ALL of the arts. They were always trying to make me choose one, and toss the others by the wayside. I was torn constantly by that concept, and depressed a lot. The truth is, if you are an artist, YOU ARE AN ARTIST, period. And from what I've seen, most musicians create in other mediums. That's just what we do. The GRAMMY Foundation has given us a vehicle in which to shine, and not only allow us to share the gifts of what we do, but to have our art make a difference in the world, and encourage our younger generations to create, and just BE in the I AM of their own Truths. Everyone then becomes instantaneously blessed as a result of this freedom of creation."
